Operations Manager

This is a Full-time position in Herndon, VA posted February 14, 2021.
The Kuwait Operations Manager has three primary responsibilities – Coordinate travel and maintain accountability for all new hires and transient personnel traveling through Valiant’s Kuwait hub; maintain property accountability for the entire program across all performance locations; and, synchronizing travel across performance locations for program personnel with military systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Track all personnel arriving and departing area of operations and ensure accountability on Daily status report
- Receive all new hires, transient personnel, and staff as they transit through Kuwait and arrangement transportation to next destination or duty location
- Maintain accountability for all personnel transiting through Kuwait
- Track all vacation requests departures and returns
- Responsible for property accountability for the entire program
- Support submission of travel packages and APACS compliance using military systems
- Other duties as assigned

- Report all hazards, potential hazards or dangerous situations, including damaged or mislaid personal protective equipment to your Supervisor or Safety Representative.
- Report Environmental impacts, anything that results in a change to the Environment as a result of Valiant’s activities, products or services.
- Participate in the achievement of Valiant’s QHSE objectives and targets, both those at departmental and company level.
